American Fidelity Assurance Company made the national Best Workplaces for Millennials list for the fourth year in a row, per research consulting firm Great Place to Work Institute and FORTUNE Magazine.
Millennials, born between 1981 and 1997, comprise approximately 36% of American Fidelity’s workforce. Many in this generation have started taking on leadership roles, with Millennials holding positions such as enterprise innovation supervisor, billing manager, assistant vice president of customer engagement, enrollment solutions manager, IT applications manager, assistant vice president of group underwriting, chief data officer and vice president of employer solutions.
“AF is a GREAT place to work! The fact that we have been able to maintain our business practices during this time is just one example,” said Jaryn Rogers, business development supervisor and a Millennial who has worked for the company for seven years. “The flexibility that this company gives its colleagues, and the trust to get the job done, are top attributes of an excellent environment. I'm so thankful for American Fidelity!”
The ranking considered feedback representing over 4.9 million employees working at Great Place to Work-Certified organizations. Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.
