Taking Care of Kentuckians
American Fidelity understands that the education industry presents unique challenges. And, we believe a generic benefits plan doesn't meet those needs. Since 1960, we've proudly focused on providing a different opinion to school districts. And we're ready to help you, too.
Video Transcript:
Patricia Sheffer: I would say American Fidelity's, not an extension of our team, I think they're part of our team. They are part of our HR staff, they're part of our finance staff. They're one and the same to us. And as the superintendent, it's like you're the mother of the district and the last thing you wanna worry about is, you know, are all your people being taken care of or not? I know with American Fidelity, my people are being taken care of.
Rhonda Caldwell: American Fidelity is a company that specializes in educators. And I always find value in that, because it's easy to think that a one-size-fits-all of benefits works. But what I've found is that educators are very unique.
Byron Costner: We have a small staff, in regards to the number of people that we have to deal with. And, if we didn't have some assistance, it would probably require us to probably hire additional people, more manpower hours, probably more cost. The assistance that we get is really helpful.
Patricia Sheffer: Our employees have meaningful relationships with American Fidelity, which has developed into this powerful partnership. And we have more and more involved, because they realize that this is truly a benefit for them. And we're not here just to sell you something, we're here to make sure that your needs are met for your own individual self and your family.
Chastity Harney: When I was diagnosed, she was the first person I called. I knew I had the cancer policy but how's it gonna implement now? And she walked me through, you do this, this, this and this. And when you're fighting a battle like that, you don't wanna have to sit and worry about insurance. And, she took that off my plate. American Fidelity took it off my plate. And I'll forever be grateful for her and American Fidelity.
Amanda Hale: Every single person locally I've ever worked with with American Fidelity, has been nothing but super supportive and professional. I've always felt like they cared about me as a human being and not just as a policyholder. And so knowing that I have somebody that I can reach out for any questions I have and who actually cares and always gets back to me within 24 hours, is huge. Because you don't wanna be in limbo in those situations.
Byron Costner: When we have the open enrollment period everyone else that comes in, it's the same. You don't skip a beat, you know, with the type of people who are coming in and that you're working with.
Patricia Sheffer: We've had all kind of things happen in the district. They're there. Regardless if it's about benefits or not, they're still there for us.
Rhonda Caldwell: The one thing that I believe people are missing out on, is American Fidelity's heart and soul, in terms of investing in Kentuckians as educators. It's an investment in us as individuals and us as professionals, to be the very best that we can be through the services and the benefits that American Fidelity provides to us.
