American Fidelity's Impact on the Auto Industry

Video Transcript:

My name's Chad Marsar. I've been with the Pennsylvania Automotive Association for 21 years. Pennsylvania Automotive Association, we represent car dealers, heavy duty truck dealers, and what we call power sports dealers or motorcycle dealers. But with the association, I always like to say, we're a one stop shop for all of our members.

When I think American Fidelity and the impact they've had on dealerships in the automotive industry, with any industry, it's tough to hire good employees. And what gives certain dealerships an edge is kind of the benefit packages they bring to the table. And if a dealership has American Fidelity with their supplemental benefits, it sets them apart from other employers and makes that environment one that employees want to be a part of.

They bring premier products to the table and have an expertise when it comes to the service of their members. The personal relationships allow for a longstanding relationships, so it's one thing to have the products and the services, it's another thing to have that personal relationship. And because of that, it plays into a great partnership and a long-term partnership.

Their level of involvement with their clients, the personal involvement when they sit down with employees and educate them on all the products, I think supplemental benefits could be confusing to certain employees, and not every provider out there is gonna sit down with employees and educate them on the products and figure out what's the best fit for an employee. So that face-to-face interaction, education, sets American Fidelity apart from other providers in this segment.
