Frequently Asked Questions

Access your account by logging in online or on AFmobile®. If you haven't already, you'll need to register for an account first.

To register, click the Login button and then click Register. You’ll need your Customer Number or Social Security number. You create your username and password. Your username and password are the same for both AFmobile and online.

To change your password online:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. Hover over your name at the top of your screen and click Password.
  3. Complete the steps to finalize your new password.
  4. Click Update Password when you’re done.

To change your password using AFmobile:

  1. Log in to AFmobile.
  2. Tap the More icon located in the lower-right corner of the app.
  3. Under Security & Password, tap Change Password.
  4. Complete the steps to finalize your new password.
  5. Tap Update Password when you’re done.

Online Account:

To reset your password, go to the login screen and click Forgot Password. Input your username and Submit. Choose your preferred communication method to receive a one-time code and follow the prompts. You'll need to reset your password before logging in to your account.

If you forgot your username, go to the login screen and click Forgot Username. Input your last name, Customer Number or Social Security number, and date of birth. Choose your preferred communication method to receive a one-time code and follow the prompts.

To view your insurance claims history online:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. Select the Claims tab from the navigation.
  3. You will see a full list of all Pending Claims and Processed Claims.

To view your insurance claims history using AFmobile:

  1. Log in to AFmobile.
  2. From the dashboard, navigate to the Claim Status section to find a list of all insurance benefits claims you’ve submitted.
  3. Tap View All Claims to see the full list.

To view your reimbursement accounts claims history:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. From the home dashboard, click the Reimbursement Accounts button. You will be directed to the reimbursement account portal.
  3. Scroll down from the dashboard to view your account activity. 
  4. Your account activity will display claims labeled as Action Required, Approved/Posted, Pending/Processing, Authorized, or Denied.
  5. You can also search by date range or monetary amount, as well as filter by claim status. 

To upload documentation for a claim online:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. Click either the Reimbursement Account button at the top of your screen or the Claims button on the left-hand side of the screen.
    • For Reimbursement Accounts, which will open the reimbursement account portal in a new tab online, select the pending claim transaction and click Add Receipt to upload documentation.
    • For Insurance Claims, select the claim from the Pending Claims section and then upload your documentation.

To upload documentation for a claim using AFmobile:

  1. Log in to AFmobile.
  2. Tap Additional Documentation from the home dashboard.
  3. Select if you want to upload documentation for a Reimbursement Account, Insurance Claim or Leave.
  4. Follow the instructions and, when prompted, either select Camera to take a photo with your device’s camera or Files to upload from your phone's gallery.
  5. Tap the Submit Files button to complete. 

To opt in to receive notifications about your insurance claims online:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. Hover over your name at the top of your screen and click Communication Preferences.
  3. Check the Electronic Opt-In email and/or text boxes to opt in to all emails and texts.
  4. Use the Communication Categories drop-down box to customize how you'd like to receive notifications about your account, claims, transactions, and more.
  5. When you’re finished with your selections, click Save Communication Preferences at the bottom of the screen.

To opt in to receive notifications about your insurance claims using AFmobile:

  1. Log in to AFmobile.
  2. Tap the More icon located in the lower-right corner of the app.
  3. Scroll down to Communication and tap Communication Preferences.
  4. Opt in to all emails and texts by enabling Electronic Opt-In.
  5. To view more communication preferences, select Show All Communication Categories.
  6. Choose any other methods of communication you’d like to enable.
  7. When you’re finished with your selections, tap the Save button.

Note: Communication preferences for your reimbursement account are managed separately. To update notifications for your reimbursement account, go to the Communication Settings in your reimbursement account portal.

Follow these steps to opt in for text message alerts for your reimbursement account online:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. From the home dashboard, click the Reimbursement Account button.
  3. Hover over your name in the top right corner of the screen, then select Communication Settings from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the Assigned Notifications section, opt in to Mobile or Both (Email and Mobile), then click Save.
  5. Under the Phone Registration Status section, select Add Number, enter your phone number, and click Save.
  6. You should receive a text message from the number 97487. Reply with "Y" to complete your registration.

To opt-in to text message alerts for your reimbursement account using AFmobile:

  1. Once logged in, tap the More icon located in the lower-right corner of the app.
  2. Scroll down to Communication and tap Reimbursement Communications.
  3. Choose to opt in Mobile or Both (Email and Mobile) for each of the Assigned Notification options, then click Save.
  4. Under the Phone Registration Status section, select Add Number, enter your phone number, and tap Save.
  5. You should receive a text message from the number 97487. Reply with "Y" to complete your registration.
