How can I view my insurance Explanation of Benefits?

The fastest way to view your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is through your online account. However, you must elect paperless EOBs before they are visible. 

To elect paperless EOBs online:

1. Log in to your online account.
2. Hover over your name at the top of your screen and click Communication Preferences.
3. Scroll down and click on the Communication Categories drop-down arrow to see further communication preferences.
4. Click the email check box next to Paperless Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
5. When you’re finished with your selections, click Save Communication Preferences at the bottom of your screen.

To elect paperless EOBs using AFmobile:

1. Log in to AFmobile.
2. Tap the More icon located in the lower-right corner of the app.
3. Scroll down to Communication and tap Communication Preferences.
4. Select Show All Communication Categories.
5. Enable the Email toggle switch under Paperless Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
6. Choose any other methods of communication you would like to enable.
7. When you’re finished with your selections, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen.

To view Electronic EOBs online:

1. After your claim has been processed, log in to your account.
2. Select the Claims tab from the navigation.
3. Under Processed Claims, select the EOB link next to the claim to download your document.

To view Electronic EOBs using AFmobile:

1. Log in to AFmobile.
2. Scroll to the Claims Status section on the dashboard and tap View All Claims.
3. Find the claim you want to view the EOB for and tap on it to open the document. 

Note: Claims are sorted into three tabs at the top: Received (in progress), Disability (completed), and Supp Medical (completed).
