How do I reimburse myself?
To reimburse yourself for an HSA eligible expense online:
- Log in to your online account.
- Click the File a Claim button.
- Under Reimbursement Accounts, select the link to navigate to the reimbursement page (which will open in a new tab).
- Fill in the required reimbursement information as prompted.
- Read the acknowledgement and check the box, then click Submit.
- On the following screen, review your reimbursement details and click Submit to finalize your request.
To reimburse yourself for an HSA eligible expense using AFmobile:
- Once logged in, click the File a Claim button.
- Select Reimbursement to navigate to the reimbursement page.
- Fill in the required reimbursement information as prompted.
- Read the acknowledgement and check the box, then click Submit.
- On the following screen, review your reimbursement details and click Submit to finalize your request.
To reimburse yourself for an HSA eligible expense via mail or fax:
- Download and complete the HSA Distribution Request Form. Please note, paper claim filing is not the fastest option.
Although documentation is not required to receive reimbursement for your HSA, it is important to keep all documentation to show proof of eligible expenses in case of an IRS audit.
