How much does the benefit pay?
The plan pays a percentage of your salary. The percentage is based on the plan selected by your employer. In general, most disability plans cover between 60% and 70% of your covered salary amount, not to exceed the plan maximum benefit amount.
Note: Your coverage does not automatically change with your salary. If your salary has increased since your last enrollment, take the opportunity to increase your coverage amount as well.
