Paid Leave for All Workers Act

Beginning January 1, 2024, most Illinois employers will be required to provide up to 40 hours of paid leave per year to employees under the Paid Leave for All Workers Act. Public school districts organized under the School Code and park districts organized under the Park District Code are excluded.
