American Fidelity’s Plan Administrative Services
We provide a variety of plan administrative services, all of which can be offered with your existing plans. This helps protect your flexibility in the future by giving you the freedom to change, add, or drop major medical carriers without affecting any of our administrative services. - Section 125 Cafeteria Plan Administrative Services
The cornerstone of any benefit program is a Section 125 cafeteria plan that helps you and your employees maximize your tax saving opportunities. American Fidelity has 25 years of experience establishing Section 125 programs, servicing more than 7,500 Section 125 plans across the United States. We provide a sample plan document, plan support, an administration guide, recordkeeping services, a monthly billing report, and annual employee enrollment and communication. When it comes to helping you maintain your plan's compliance - even in the face of the continually changing Health Care Reform rules - let American Fidelity be your guide.
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Administrative Services
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are a great way for your employees to save money on out-of-pocket medical and dependent day care expenses that they incur throughout the year, while giving you an additional tax saving opportunity. Additional features offered by our Health FSA are a Uniform Coverage Risk Insurance Plan and a Health FSA Debit Card.
- Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Administrative Services
An HRA is an IRS-sanctioned program funded entirely by an employer to reimburse qualified medical expenses for participating employees and their spouses and children. An HRA allows you to gain greater control of how your organization's benefit dollars are spent. You choose the contribution amount, how the funds can be used, and if unused funds can be rolled over from year to year.
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Custodial and Administrative Services
An HSA is a tax advantaged savings account that may be funded by employer and employee contributions. HSAs give employees the ability to pay for qualified out-of-pocket medical expenses and/or to save for future health care costs (even those into retirement). Contributions, earnings, and withdrawals used to pay for qualified medical expenses are all tax-free. American Fidelity's HSA features Interest Bearing Accounts and Mutual Fund Options as well as the use of an HSA Debit Card.
- Enrollment Solutions
Did you know that Health Care Reform affects the enrollment of your employee benefits? American Fidelity's salaried, career account representatives are available to assist employers and employees with their annual benefits enrollment, including explaining any plan changes and how Health Care Reform affects their coverage. Our Account Representatives can assist with your full benefit enrollment, even if you offer multiple plan options from a variety of third-party carriers. Available year-round, your American Fidelity representative can also assist with new hire enrollments and employee life status changes.
- Employee Communication
The key to successfully managing changes in an employee benefits program is good communication with employees. American Fidelity is well-versed in employee communication in a variety of environments and can help you design a plan that best meets your needs. A focal point of our customers' communication strategies is often our enrollment model that combines group meetings with one-on-one discussions. Our career, salaried account representatives meet with each employee individually, which creates an ideal opportunity to ensure they understand their health coverage options and can make the best decisions about their benefits for their own personal situations.
- Dependent Verification Review
A Dependent Verification Review can help ensure that dependents covered on your company's medical, dental, or vision plans are eligible according to your health plan contract language. American Fidelity will provide sample employees communication, conduct private individual employee sessions, obtain a signed 'Dependent Eligibility Form', and provide periodic progress reports.
- Wellness Support
Employers may want to consider implementing a variety of wellness programs in order to help improve the health of employees and, in turn, to reduce health plan costs. American Fidelity offers information and access to wellness support services to our customers in connection with their wellness programs. Click here to learn more.
