Our Company In The Community

community_thunder To us, community is not simply a place in which we live and work. It’s a place we can strive to make a difference through our individual talents, passions and skills. As Colleagues we work together by collectively supporting our community through annual United Way and Allied Arts campaigns as well as individual projects throughout the year. Whether it’s helping a student learn, providing food to a fellow citizen in need, giving blood, cheering from the sidelines or helping to rebuild that which was lost … we strive to open our hearts, give of our time and simply get involved. To us, being a family Company means making our community a part of that family.

Colleagues have plenty of opportunities to get involved and seek Company support for organizations they support personally. Colleagues are invited to nominate their favorite charities to receive proceeds from monthly charity days in which Colleagues pay $2 to wear T-shirts on a designated day. In addition, the American Fidelity Foundation will match personal donations of $25 or more to qualifying organizations.

We also partner with other organizations to support education and wellness initiatives. AFA sponsors all of the literacy and education initiatives with the Oklahoma City Thunder. We also work with the Tulsa Shock to sponsor Time Out for Fitness school assemblies and the PE Teacher/Coach of the Game.

We are committed to being a strong corporate citizen for all the right reasons. We believe it is always the right time to do the right thing.
